Wants & Needs Northern Monk Cans 24x440ml Northern Monk Brewing 5.2 £86.80 2
Collab with Barrier Brewing and Insa. Their brand manager Bobby is crazy for anything hopped with Mosaic and Columbus, and who were we to argue with this classic combination? We utilised this pairing in the substantial dry hop to bring a huge dank fruity character, intensified by the extra powerful flavour and aroma contribution of Columbus BBC pellets. We used a large percentage of oats in the grist to provide a soft, full mouthfeel and accentuated this by fermenting with WLP066 London Fog yeast. The result is a smooth and sessionable pale ale, with no compromise on hop character. BBE: 30/11/19

Santo Siren 12x330ml cans Siren Craft Brew 5.0 £16.60 3
SANTO is an evolution of our 2017 Rainbow Project beer, and is the first time we've ever brewed a lager for general release. This is very much our interpretation on the style. We're using an authentic American Lager yeast strain along with some fructose for a touch of sweetness while keeping the body nice and light. There's a touch of oats and wheat in there too to help the body, but the star of SANTO is the dry hop. Amarillo, Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra work in harmony to give the drink subtle tropical fruit notes and fresh, crisp citrus. Saintly clean and devilishly drinkable. BBE: 01/07/20
